Ordering & Payment Information

1. Sample request and order placement:
   The buyer can place the order by email or can send a signed copy of purchase order through courier, Product code, description, size, color and all other details should be written clearly while placing orders.
2. Order confirmation process:
   Once the products are identified, prices and delivery dates are confirmed after back and forth correspondences proforma invoice will be sent by "Tanistha Crafts Eports", to confirm the order. The production sample will be sent by TanisthaCrafts for buyer approval if necessary. This is the official confirmation from TanisthaCrafts side that the order is finally confirmed for mass production and goods will be produced as per the sample sent to the buyer. There will not be any changes after the sample is finally confirmed for production from the buyer side.
3. Delivery Terms:
   All prices are FOB, Kathmandu are quoted in Euro in case of direct exports for the European customers. The price can be converted in US Dollar according to necessity. If buyer directly visit Nepal and want to purchase in Kathmandu, the prices will be quote in Kathmandu price . In this case, the goods will deliver to the buyer or buyer agent from our warehouse directly.
4. Pricing:
   The prices are not displayed in our website. If you wish to receive price list of our products, lease email at with products you are interested in. We will respond to your enquiry within 24 hours in working days.
5. Lead Time:
   The lead time for production will be confirmed as per the mutual understanding between buyer and Handmade Felt Nepal. Sample requests are attended and sent as soon as possible. Standard Production Time: • 3 to 4 weeks for small orders • 5 to 8 weeks for medium orders • 7-12 weeks for large orders • 10-15 weeks for mass orders
6. Production:
   We are an organization with commercial aspect with social motive to empower economically under-privileged people of remote areas of Nepal. Our products are completely handmade: we do not use any machines. Due to its handmade nature the each products may slightly vary in size and colour.
7. Tolerance:
   +- 5% variation will be acceptable in the design, colour and quality.
8. Minimum Order Quantity:
   It depends upon the products/raw materials/designs/colours and the nature of products. However, the order quantity should be at least 10pcs for small items.
9. Buyer's Design and Exclusivity:
   Our expertise also lies in working together with buyers giving their own designs. This could be in terms of new product development or modification in our existing designs. We respectively welcome design exclusivity provided by the buyers in case of the provided designs are different than our designs and if there is considerable order for that particular design. We assure you that we will keep full secrecy of the designs from our side. However, we will not be responsible if the designs are leaked from your side in our local market. For instance, the customer purchased the goods or get through your side and leaked in Nepalese market.
10. Payment:
    Advance payment of compulsory needed in our country by law for the export documentation process. All the custom procedure require the advance payment certificate. Usually, we work for 50% advance payment after the order is confirmed. Confirmation of the order is done through sending a pro forma invoice. The remaining 50% payment should be done after completion of the production process and prior to the shipment date. Please find below the bank details for wire transfer:

For sample shipment, we usually use courier Services. Big consignments can be shipped by air or by land-sea depending upon the weight/volume of the shipment. Buyers bear the cost of transportation. We can do the packing, documentation and send the shipment through our cargo agent. You can also appoint your own cargo agent for the same.

The rates we quote, unless specified, are usually FOB, Kathmandu. They do not include any shipping, handling and insurance charges. Shipping charges differ according to gross/volume weight of the shipment, the final destination of the shipped goods and the airline or courier service used. We may not be able to use the same airlines for the every shipment. We can confirm our customers about the cost of shipping once the gross weight of the shipment, the final destination of the shipped goods, and the method of transportation is confirmed. Shipping charges also include handling charges at both ports of origin (Kathmandu) and destination (Buyer's Airport). Custom clearance charges and other custom taxes of buyer's country are not included in the shipping charges.
